OCVIBE Unveils Six New Bar and Lounge Concepts Coming to Katella Commons

OCVIBE, the 100-acre mixed-use development taking shape around Honda Center in Anaheim, has announced six original bar and lounge concepts set to open inside Katella Commons, the district’s newly named, 50,000-square-foot, two-story market hall, when it debuts in early 2027.

Located at the heart of OCVIBE, just below The Weave office building, Katella Commons will feature 21 chef-driven kitchens alongside beverage-forward concepts and connect directly to the district’s central plaza and surrounding entertainment venues. The design positions the market hall as an everyday gathering place for both locals and visitors.

The new bar and lounge lineup signals a shift for Anaheim, long associated with its brewery scene. These concepts expand the city’s social landscape with craft cocktails and mocktails, curated wine programs, and late-night lounge settings, creating new ways to gather, unwind, and experience nightlife.

The bar and lounge concepts coming to Katella Commons include:

Bar Bacchia, a moody tasting bar inspired by wine caves and ancient rituals, with a focus on amaro-forward cocktails, curated wines, and intimate pop-up tastings.

Vesper Lounge offers a calm, refined cocktail experience influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian design, with an emphasis on gin, martinis, spritzes, and botanical spirits.

Barrel Bar is a modern European cafe-style concept designed to move easily from day to night, serving spritzes, classic cocktails, beer, wine, and globally inspired small plates.

Rea’s Ranch brings a relaxed, beer-garden-style setting with California desert character, featuring draft beers, natural wines, and daytime coffee service in an open, porch-style environment.

Two additional concepts round out the lineup. One will serve as a central gathering space at the social heart of Katella Commons, wrapped in greenery and offering cocktails, frozen drinks, and modern classics. The other draws on late 1970s glamour and early 1980s maximalism in a bold, pavilion-style setting with visually striking cocktails and a lively, high-energy atmosphere.

Together, the six concepts establish Katella Commons as a day-to-night destination and the social heartbeat of OCVIBE, with each venue offering a distinct setting, from intimate tasting rooms to high-energy cocktail lounges.

In keeping with OCVIBE’s focus on a chef-driven experience, acclaimed Chef Rémi Lauvand has been tapped to lend his culinary perspective to the development of Katella Commons and its overall food and beverage program.
